Has anyone been busy doing anything and if so what?

I have been very busy blackberrying, as predicted. What has anyone else been very busy doing? It is quite different from all my underwated activities as a younger terrapin. For a start, blackberries only seem to grow above the water, from what I can see. Discounting the Underwater Blackberries of Doom, obviously. No-one in their right mind would try and pick any of THOSE. (my friend Ced had one once and fell into some awfully bad luck.)

valuable activities. I'm glad someone's making sweeties. do you ever do crystalised blackberries? do you do fruit pastilles? What about that french stuff 'pate de fruit'? Crunchies are as everyone knows the best sweet and no fruit went into the making of them. Mind you you can't beat sherbet lemons and there's a glass and a half of real lemon juice in every single one, I heard..

you DO do fruit pastilles!!! and those ones called after eights like what my mum and dad used to have!!! is it after eight in the morning or evening though? i wouldn't want to choke on them or suffer any long term damage to my internal clock.

i do, do stuff like that but it's not without its drawbacks. Its not all playing in ingredients like willy wonka shows it. I try to be a good oompa loompa but it's not always easy. We get punished severely if we dont meet expectations. I am punished alot for being over tall to fit into the proper oompa loompa category and dont get to join in with all the oompa loompa games, kinda like the rudolph of the confectionary world.
I would like to ask if u have ever made a game from sweets and if so how?

i am sorry to hear there are darker shadows than are even properly imaginable in the life of an oompa loompa. what you need is a game that restores balance by weighting it heavily in favour of taller people. i suggest spending an amusing half hour or so hanging up a lot of sherbet lemons on sparkly thread - you could do this with friends OR a bottle of wine - make them just too high for most people to reach. When you feel like it, get everyone to run around trying to pick as many as they can without crying. You'll win, obviously, because you can just go about easily getting them down, and also you'll know where they are.
Although that one was in my imagination, i have also done a good game with packets of sweets laid out in a sort of quite easy maze, in which a small rhino and a baby lizard competed to carry a sweet(in their mouths)from one side to the other without touching the edges or crying. The baby lizard was really a bit young for it. He won though.
