can anyone suggest something i can make for tea tonight? it has to be something fit for a person who lives in a castle, and it has to have steak in it. thanks.
ahh now it just so happens i have just the thing - Steak of the Castle - Slottsstek
2lb rump steak, 2oz butter
Melt the butter and fry the steak to seal it. 1 medium leek or onion 3 anchovies 2tbls cream 2tbs flour 1 tbs vinegar 0.5 tbs syrup 1 bayleaf 16 peppercorns salt water (enough to cover the meat.)
Place meat and remaining ingredients in an oven proof dish and cook for 2 hrs in a moderate oven. Alternatively braising or stewing steak may be used , in which case , cook for 3 hrs. DA Da!!! perfick!
steak, baked potato, coleslaw, green salad. that's a good dinner, whether you live in a castle or not. steak and chips, yes. that's a good dinner too. not sure about the 'veg' though. further explanation? (the idea of having anything boiled with it makes me very uncomfortable.)

how about making an actual castle out of actual chips?
how 'actual' would it have to be?
I will consider that and get back to you. My initial thought is : very.
getting back to you. I'm still thinking 'very actual', so if I were you I'd take that to be FINAL.
